In October of 2021, Aurelio’s Pizza® partnered with Bernie’s Book bank to donate books to kids in need. Throughout the entire month, Aurelio’s® customers handed back in their shields from their Aurelio’s Pizza® boxes. For each shield received at participating Aurelio’s Pizzas®, Aurelio’s® would donate one book to a child in need. Our goals was to reach 5,000 shield and with the support of Aurelio’s® customers, we were able to meet that goal and donate over 5,000 books to Bernie’s Book Bank, which then were distributed to children in need.
